I’ve always believed the most interesting homes aren’t the ones where everything matches perfectly. They’re the ones that feel collected. A beautiful piece of furniture next to something unexpected. A vintage find mixed with something new. Great architecture, natural materials, artwork with a story—and rooms comfortable enough that people actually want to spend time in them. That philosophy is at the heart of Taryn DeVincent Interiors. My work spans new construction, renovations and furnishings, and I love being involved in the details that ultimately give a home its character—from the layout of a room and the design of a built-in to the perfect light fixture or piece of art.
My lifelong connection to the beach inevitably influences my work. I love natural textures, beautiful blues, relaxed materials and spaces filled with light. But I don’t believe in designing every home to fit a particular aesthetic. The architecture, location and—most importantly—the people who live there should determine how a home feels. Some projects are light and coastal. Others are traditional, colorful or quietly sophisticated. What connects them is an emphasis on creating homes that feel personal, welcoming and timeless. Because ultimately, a beautiful home isn’t about following a formula. It’s about creating a place that feels completely your own.

Coastal, collected and designed for life on the water.
A waterfront home where crisp architectural details, natural textures and shades of blue create an elevated interpretation of coastal living. Bright, welcoming and decidedly unfussy, the home feels equally suited to entertaining a houseful of guests or enjoying a quiet morning overlooking the bay.

Classic foundations. Fresh perspective.
Traditional architectural elements meet a more relaxed, current point of view in this thoughtfully layered home. Rich color, distinctive lighting and carefully considered details give each space its own personality while creating a cohesive feeling throughout.

Easygoing shore living, thoughtfully elevated.
Designed to embrace the relaxed rhythm of life at the beach, this home balances casual comfort with tailored details, natural textures and a fresh, timeless palette.

A little 1955 beach house with a whole lot of personality.
Our own vintage beach house became a place to experiment, collect and have a little fun. Original artwork, vintage finds, surf history and pieces gathered over time give this small house a personality all its own. Nothing is too precious—and that’s exactly the point.
Whether you’re building from the ground up, renovating an existing home or ready to finally finish the rooms you’ve been thinking about, I’d love to hear about your project.
